Learning Curves during Seasons of Self

Learning Curves during Seasons of Self

It's -5 Celsius on a Clear & Calm Early Morning in the Middle of The Week, in February. Shortly after Rising, I have Reloaded both Woodstoves. The Sun's Starting to Rise, so while My Coffee is Brewing, I Decide to go out on the Back Deck to Get My Day Started by taking in a Deep Breath of Fresh Morning Air... all the while, doing a few Yoga Stretches and Scanning the Star Laiden Sky. It appears as if it's going to be a Beauty of a Day.

After Retreating back into My Living Room, I Settle into My 1st Cuppa Coffee for the day. I've been reading a Book called, "Margaret's Hope ~ Daughters of The Sea", by Jewell Mitchell, a Local Gurl. A Very Creatively Written Novel, based on Historical Fiction of Yesteryear that has Lockeport and West Head as its Backdrop. Even though I am from Lockeport, Born & Raised, My Heart Sings for West Head. For Its Calmness and Beauty, but yet Its Boldness from Mother Nature's Touch, Surrounded by The Rugged Atlantic Ocean.

While reading Jewell's book, in the background, I am listening to My Wood Stove's Heartbeat's... the Ticking from the Wood Burning, warming up the Cast Iron Bodies of these Heating Elements. It's been a Winter We will Remember for sure. Between Reading, Knitting and Enjoying the Warmth of The Wood Heat, I find a Sense of Calmness and Peace. While this being said, Patience is not My Virtue, but I'm always trying so hard to conquer. This Winter has given me Lots of Time to work on that, by taking the Time to Be in The Moment, and not be in Such a Hurry all of the time. As with The Weather We Have Experienced, there's not a lot one can do, other than Reflect and Rest.

February is Ending, and Soon Our Weather Will Hopefully Return to Warmer, Sunnier Days to Enjoy Daily Strolls along Our Salty Shores of The Big Beach and Others in The Area. All the while being a Bit Housebound due to Storm after Storm. Patience, I say... I'm Trying Real Hard! Resisting the Pressure to Always be "On-The-Go"

Here's to The "Learning Curves during The Seasons of Self" in The Winter of 2O26... Looking forward to Hopefully a Good Spring / Summer ahead
